The New Testament presents spiritual gifts as expressions of God’s grace given for the benefit of others and the building up of the body of Christ.
They are not simply personality traits, titles, or indicators of spiritual importance. They are part of the way believers contribute to the work God is accomplishing through His people.
Understanding your gifts can help you become more intentional about where you serve, how you develop, and where you may be able to make your strongest contribution.

An Assessment Is a Starting Point, Not the Final Answer
No spiritual gifts assessment can determine God's calling for you with absolute certainty.
A questionnaire can identify patterns in how you perceive yourself, but spiritual gifts are also recognized through Scripture, prayer, Christian community, experience, service, and the confirmation of mature believers who have observed your life.
For that reason, KDN encourages you to treat your assessment results as information to explore rather than a label to adopt.
Ask whether the results correspond with your actual experience.
Where have other people consistently recognized strength in you?
What kinds of ministry responsibilities have produced meaningful fruit?
Where do you find yourself particularly motivated to help others?
What abilities become clearer when you are actively serving?
These questions can help move the assessment from information toward practical discernment.
From Discovery to Development
Discovering a spiritual gift is valuable. Developing it is where the journey becomes practical.
A person may recognize an ability to teach but still need to develop biblical interpretation, communication, preparation, and teaching skills.
Someone may demonstrate leadership potential but need experience in decision-making, team development, accountability, and organizational leadership.
Another person may have a strong inclination toward encouragement, mercy, service, evangelism, administration, or another area of ministry but need opportunities to practice that gift in a healthy environment.

Spiritual Gifts and Your Kingdom Design
Spiritual gifts are important, but they are only one part of understanding how you may be equipped to serve.
Your experiences matter.
Your abilities matter.
Your interests matter.
Your character and spiritual maturity matter.
The needs and opportunities around you matter.
Even the difficulties you have experienced can influence the people and situations you are particularly prepared to understand and serve.
KDN refers to this broader picture as your Kingdom Design: the developing understanding of how God has shaped, equipped, and prepared you to contribute.
Your spiritual gifts assessment provides one piece of that larger picture.
What Should I Do With My Results?
Once you complete the assessment, resist the temptation to simply read your results and move on.
Take time to evaluate them.
Consider your highest-ranked gifts and compare them with your previous ministry and life experiences. Ask trusted Christian leaders or friends whether they recognize those qualities in you.
Then look for opportunities to practice.
You may discover that your results confirm something you have sensed for years. They may reveal an area you have never seriously considered. You may also discover through experience that a particular assessment result does not accurately reflect your strongest area of gifting.
That is part of the discovery process.
The objective is not to obtain the perfect assessment score. It is to become a more faithful and effective participant in Kingdom work.
